Cordless power tools offer versatility for workers so that they can easily move about a job site. Dewalt manufactures a wide range of cordless power tools, including drills powered by rechargeable cordless drill battery packs. Most of the Dewalt batteries are lithium ion types which are lighter and last much longer than nickel-based batteries, the Dewalt power tool battery is the same for a number of the tools and is charged from any house outlet.
Dewalt DW9096 Cordless Drill Battery Charging Guide
1. Do not drain the Dewalt DW9096 Battery past its effective charge. If the Dewalt power tool begins to lose torque and power, stop using it. When this is done, the battery becomes damaged and might not absorb a full charge in the future.
2. Allow the Dewalt DW9096 Drill Battery to charge overnight. Dewalt batteries are designed to be charged in three stages and giving it the extra time in the cradle will more fully allow it to reach full charge.
3. Charge the Dewalt DW9057 Drill Battery at room temperature. While it charges, the room temperature should not go above 100-degrees or below 40-degrees Fahrenheit. Past these levels, the power tool battery will resist taking a full charge. When the battery is hot to the touch, let it cool while before charging.
4. Dewalt recommends that their batteries should not be completely discharged as this can result in the battery failing to take a charge. The battery should be charged after each use, before complete discharge, to ensure a long tool battery life.
Tips & Warnings
