HP Pavilion DV3500 Laptop sports a 13.3-inch BrightView LED display, a liquid metallic HP Intersect Imprint design with glossy bronze finish, cool backlight keyboard, built-in web camera, microphone, and up to 4 hours and 15 minutes of laptop battery life.
Laptop batteries power the laptop when it is not or cannot be plugged into an electrical outlet. This makes the laptop portable, allowing the user to use the laptop whenever and wherever they choose. Laptop batteries have a normal life span of 12 to 36 months. During this time, the battery life will slowly diminish, meaning the battery won’t be able to power the laptop for as long. However, reconditioning the battery can help recover or restore some of the lost efficiency on NiCD or NiMH batteries. There is no way to restore or recover a HP Pavilion dv3000 Battery and draining the battery should not be done purposely.
Instructions:
1. Plug the AC adapter into the laptop. Allow the battery to fully charge. This process will take 4 to 8 hours depending on laptop battery type and size.
2. Remove the HP Pavilion dv3500 AC Adapter. Turn the laptop on.
3. Allow the laptop battery to continue to provide power to the laptop until the battery is completely drained. Once the laptop shuts off, the battery has been exhausted, or discharged.
4. Perform this process a total of three times prior to the batteries first use and every three months thereafter. You can also go through this process when you find a loss of efficiency. If you do not perform this process, you may not get full life from the battery.
