Dewalt cordless power tool battery packs contain rechargeable nickel cadmium batteries, Ni-MH batteries, Li-ion batteries. Insert a chisel tip into a soldering iron. Plug the soldering iron power cord into an electrical outlet and wait for it to heat. Most soldering irons have a steady red light when they are ready for use.
