1. Change Brightness to Manual

Adaptive brightness is the biggest enemy of smartphone battery life. Adaptive brightness ensures your phone‘s brightness is set to maximum, even when the conditions do not require so. Go to settings, then display and gestures and brightness level. Check off automatic brightness and manually adjust the brightness to fit your style.

2. Disable High Performance Mode

In the hidden developer settings menu, you will find a “High performance Mode”. This mode ensures your HTC One M9 works on maximum processing power all the time. 3. Check Background Apps

The first thing to look for if your battery is draining fast is background applications. If you enable the mode, the One M9 will disable the more powerful four cores of the chipset and the phone will operate with only four cores.

5. Extreme Power Saver Mode

If you are left with just under 18% of HP HSTNN-IB73 Battery juice and you need your smartphone to be operational for calls and text messages, extreme power saving mode will help you. Once you enable the mode, all you can do is make calls, check the clock, use calculator send messages and that is it. No more apps in this mode.
