You don’t need a professional laptop computer technician to replace the internal battery of Toshiba Satellite A200 laptop computer. It’s a DIY-friendly task that requires no special tools or skills. When proper safety procedures are followed, the Toshiba Satellite A200 Laptop Battery can be changed in short time.
Steps:
1. Power down your Toshiba Satellite A200 by clicking on the Windows “Start” button and selecting the “Shut Down” option.
2. Disconnect the Toshiba Satellite A200 notebook computer’s AC adapter and pull it out.
3. Close the notebook’s display. Turn over the Toshiba Satellite A200 notebook so that the underside faces upward. Place the Toshiba Satellite A200 on a flat, sturdy surface.
4. Survey the underside of your Toshiba Satellite A200 Laptop. Look for the horizontal outline of the battery. The battery outline will be visible at the top of the underside of the unit, slightly off-centre and aligned to the left of the device’s bottom. Circular vents will be located below the horizontal battery outline. In between the vents and the battery outline you will see the TOSHIBA Satellite A300 Laptop Battery release mechanisms. 5. Activate the battery release mechanisms. Slide each to the right to activate, and be sure to activate them simultaneously. The battery will eject. Place it aside.
6. Slide the new battery into the space vacated by the previous Toshiba pa3399u-1bas battery. Push it in carefully until it clicks into place and is secure.
7. Plug the Toshiba PA3516E-1AC3 AC Adapter back into the port on the rear of the Toshiba Satellite A200 and open the display.
8. Power on the Toshiba Satellite A200 laptop.
